Print a test page

Right-click the printer you want to test, and then click Properties.
On the General tab, click Print Test Page.
Click OK if the test page printed correctly. If the test page did not print correctly, click Troubleshoot to open the Print Troubleshooter for help resolving the printing problem.

Notes

To print a test page, you must have the Print permission. For information about printing security permissions, see Related Topics.
You can also print a test page when you first install a printer.
